Automatic Bonus Progression
Characters gain inherent bonuses as they level, reducing reliance on magic item upgrades. See Table 4-11: Automatic Bonus Progression for the official reference.

Full Access to 1st Level Feats
To encourage flexibility and reduce the sting of early feat choices:
- Each PC knows all 1st level class feats for their class.
- Each PC knows all 1st level skill feats for which they are trained in the corresponding skill.

Hero Points Awarded
Fortune favors the bold—and sometimes the unlucky. Hero Points are awarded when:
- A PC takes a Critical Hit from an enemy.
- A PC rolls a natural 1 on an attack roll. (The critical miss must be kept.)
